Additional Info:
The Argonauts are a seven piece ska band out of Bowling Green, OH. who come from all corners of Ohio and even from MI. It all started the Fall of 2004 when Count Tommy told Jason that he had a nice Mustard Plug T-Shirt on. So the original members, Jason, Chris, Count Tommy, Curtice, Brandon Schill, and Some Bass Player practiced in Count's garage every two weeks. The original lineup was Count Tommy on Drums, Brandon on Trombone, and Jason on Guitar. Turns out we didn't like our bass player and decided to send him to the free agents list where we picked up Mark Krooms. The first night with Mark was phenomenal. The summer of '05 the band got together and worked hard over the summer. In the fall, we had a huge change on our Roster. Brandon could no longer be in the band and so Count Tommy switched to his main instrument the Trombone, Jason on Flugelhorn, Mark doing Vocals, Samantha on Trombone, and the amazing Jay Jackson on the Drums. With this in place, we'd practice once a week for a couple of hours. In the Winter of '05, we lost our Trombone player Samantha who decided to transfer to a different school to better her own education. Samantha is still The Argonauts biggest fan and the line up is as is. The group of seven have already played shows with Mustard Plug, The Briggs, and The Dead Pets. We've also been offered to play shows with Westbound Train, The Toasters, The Know How, Big D and the Kids Table. Check out our MySpace for our three songs we just put out on our MySpace and go ahead and friend us. Our philosophy is, "You give us a show, we'll play it. Anywhere, Anytime."
